Connect

We work with the community of North Kensington throughout the year to deliver programmes and initiatives.

2022 saw the start of Lunch Club, a sociable event once a month to combat isolation for our older residents. The Garden project, teaching young people how to grow their own produce and use what they have grown in simple dishes.

Through local businesses and contacts we have also been able to create opportunities for local people.

Who We Are

The Community Cook-Off, established in 2018, is an extraordinary initiative that endeavours to bring together community services and residents from all walks of life, irrespective of age, ethnicity, or background. It serves as a unifying platform through its annual competition of programs, fostering a sense of togetherness and celebrating the diverse culinary talents within the community.

Located in the vibrant neighbourhood of North Kensington, the Cook-Off has become a cornerstone event that showcases the power of food and communal spirit. Each year, participants eagerly participate in this remarkable event, showcasing their culinary prowess and creativity while contributing to a worthy cause.

The Cook-Off holds the conviction that food has the remarkable ability to bridge gaps, nurture connections, and create lasting bonds.
